21 September, 2009: I was fortunate to be one of 30 photographers chosen to attend the Editorial Photography workshops in Istanbul hosted by iStockphoto and Getty Images. It was an incredibly profound experience learning from the top people in the business. The event has inspired me to travel back to East Africa, including Uganda, Ethiopia and war torn Somalia.

16 September, 2009: I was one of 50 artists chosen by Getty Images to submit Rights Managed photos to Stone, their most prestigious image collection. When I started back in 2002, I NEVER thought this was possible. I look forward to submitting images in 2010!
